Life with a Baby- Brotherly Love

Preston is the best puggle brother a baby could ever ask for. Nolan absolutely adores his fur brother.
For the past couple of months, Nolan has been wearing a cranial helmet to reshape his little head (his head was flat in the back as a result of sleeping on his back). To show his support, Preston also put on his pomelo helmet.

Mommy and Daddy always enjoy seeing the interactions between Preston and Nolan. These are some moments caught on the camera that bring smiles to Mommy and Daddy’s faces. It is not surprising that “Preston” is the first word Nolan has learned.

  3. Preston is the greatest puggie brother to a beautiful human brother!
We are now working in dog rescue and see so many wonderful dogs being given up because of a new baby in the house.
Those people should see Preston and Nolan.

    Thanks!!!

Those pictures brought a tear to Mommy’s eyes! How precious are the two of them together! You are so lucky to have two sweet boys who love each other so much!
It seems as though Preston is truly watching out for Nolan!
I hope Nolan’s head is better soon! He and Preston make those helmets look so cute!

Nolan and Preston are so cute! I love to see a cute little guy rockin’ the cranial helmet. Our baby boy is more than likely going to need one due to sleep on one side of his head (wish I would’ve known to spot this sooner in order to fix it) and it’s been tough (I’m sure it’s tougher on us than it will be on him!), but seeing Nolan doesn’t make me feel as bad. He looks so cute…and love Preston helping his little brother out! We have a puggle too and know how protective they can be of little ones.

    Thanks for sharing! K

One more thing….where did you get the custom helmet for your little guy? Thanks!

Oh Preston, you are such a great big brother. How long will Baby Nolan need to wear his helmet? Hope his head will be back to normal soon. Anyway, Preston – you both look great. It’d be more and more fun as your baby brother gets older. I wish I have a playmate too 🙂 that won’t eat my treats, but I can eat his treats.

    XOXO – Poochy

    That is so adorable!!

  10. Oh my goodness, those are just the sweetest pictures ever!! 😛 I especially love the one where both you & Nolan are looking down with a wrinkled frown, concentrating…so cute! You are such a great older brother, Preston – I’mn not surprised you’re the 1st word that Nolan has learnt.

Oh! And Hsin-Yi got REALLy excited when she saw your pomelo helmet! See, when she was a little girl back in Taiwan, that is what they used to do all the time when they ate pomelos (*esp round the Moon Festival) – she still does it now sometimes when she finds a pomelo in the Asian gorceries – she just LOVES the smell of the skin. Paul thinks she is totally mad to walk around for 1/2 a day with a pomelo skin on her head!! 😀

    Slobbers,

  11. Both P and N are super adorable. Nolan is already perfect, and will be pristine when he gets out of his helmet. Preston is every baby brothers dream brother. M and D are the lucky folks. Thanks for sharing!

Love this blog. My pug passed away in December and I have been looking for a new dog. We are partly concerned about having a new dog with a 7 month old baby. However, your pictures confirm that a dog and a baby make a happy combination. We were thinking about a puggle and that is how I happened upon this page. I will keep reading.

  13. Preston and Nolan are so sweet together. Preston is indeed a great “fur brother” and Nolan looks like he is good at taking care of Preston. They look so content and happy together. We are so happy for all of you. Love, Jack, Ella and (Mommy) Ann

I’ve been following Prestong for a couple of years now and I knew that when a baby came along, he would be so lucky to have Preston as a big brother. I love these pictures so much. It is unbelievable what a good boy P is. He is my third favorite dog, next to my baby boy Flippy, and my grand-dog Cosie!
