Goodbye, Boston!

Preston said goodbye to Boston this weekend.
Mommy and Daddy think the summer weather is too hot for Preston to fly so they decided to make a roadtrip from Boston to Houston since they know Preston loves roadtrips (much better than flying for sure!) and they can also visit friends and family along the way.
It is gonna be a long long trip!

Mommy and Daddy are excited about moving to Houston but they are also very sad about saying goodbye to Boston. Preston is going to miss all the fun things he can do in New England all year round.

***ATTENTION*** Preston will be on TV again! The new show he is participating this time is Animal Planet’s “Dogs vs. Cats“, scheduled to be aired on 7/24 (Sat) 8:00pm PT/ET. Preston will show the world how smart dogs can be!

Oh Preston, what wonderful and exciting memories you made while living in Boston! Think of all the adventures that lie ahead in Houston! From Coast to Coast Preston, you have seen and done so much!
Mommy misses Dunkin Donuts coffee too! We have DD downhere in Florida but she always says “it’s not the same!”

Well Puggle Preston is on the road again! Can’t wait to see all the pictures and videos of the Adventure. I would not miss the cold here in Chicago, IL USA (if we moved to TX), but human Granny would sure hate the heat in Texas. But it has been so hot here we have not been able to go on too long of walks. Maybe we will get down Texas way real soon to have a meet-up! Human Papa is due for a visit to the ‘Lone Star State’ to see my human GreatGrandma and human GreatGrandpa. YeeHaw! I’ll keep human Granny set on the Animal Planet Channel to catch the show. Take Care and have a safe trip to you and your humans.

That is a LOOOOONG road trip you will be taking to get to your new house but it looks like you’ll be taking lots of fun stops along the way. Let us know if you’re ever in Winston-Salem (NC) and we can meet up at a dog park. We have two really great dog parks but Jack and Ella’s fave. one is called Horizons Park.
In any event, if you ever find yourself in W-S NC for any reason let us know. And have a fun and safe move. I know moving might be a little scary and new but you will make new friends really fast and you’re a pro at it now.
We love you, Preston. Travel safe and be good for your Mommy and Daddy.

And what wonderful memories you have of Boston! My humans have visited there and they thought it was beautiful.

Anyway, wishing you lots of luck on your journey and looking forward to hearing all about it!

Have a safe trip, Preston. Can’t wait to see your postings around Houston. Find some Texas squirrels for me 🙂

We already set our Tivo to record you on Saturday. You are famous. I am proud to be a puggle.

  7. Rachel says:

How do you manage to keep getting on dogs 101? Whats your secret?

  8. I’m glad to hear that you are on your way Preston! You are going to have so much fun on your road trip! Just be sure to stay cool in the process.

I’m sure you and your parents are very sad to leave such a beautiful city. The best part about Boston is that they actually have all 4 seasons. Don’t expect that here in TX. Its pretty much HOT, HOT, Chilly, and Cool. We hardly even get changing colors on the leaves of on our trees. We loved all your pictures…great memories!

My Mama has already tuned her alarm and tV to your show on Animal planet. We are even going to record it so we can re-watch it! You are my celebrity puggle!

    Have a great trip!

    So cool!
