Preston Sits

Preston now knows how to sit. We just have to make it do it more consistently on command.

Preston is mostly housebroken. When we take him outside to the grassy area, he will pee and poop there. Occasionally he still has accidents in the house, but not that often anymore. We are learning his movement and what he does to tell us he wants to go to the bathroom. We know that when he starts to really sniff around that he’s looking for a place to go to the bathroom. We’re thinking about training him to ring a bell my the door when he wants to “go potty”. I think we have a smart dog here.

Curious Preston

Preston’s very curious. It’s probably the beagle side of him coming out. He was looking for his toys and found his toy box. JACKPOT !!!

He definitely knows where his toys are. He will occasionally stick his head in the yellow tote to pull a toy out. Of course he doesn’t play with it much except to make a mess and scattering all his toys everywhere.

Updated to add video showing how he gets into the toybox.

Preston’s Little House

This is Preston’s little play pen that we have for him. We also got him a lot of various stuffed animals and chew toys to play with.Â We started to spoil him even before we got him.

Here is Preston in his little cushion bed. He loves to rest and sleep in there.Â We wonder how long it will take before he outgrows it.
