“Table Manners”

Since Preston is a big snuggler, Mommy pays special attention to his grooming. After all, no one likes to snuggle with a stinker!
Mommy keeps Preston clean and smelling fresh with

3) Stinky Butts Spritz by Mellow Mutts.
4) Furminator deShedder

Preston helps drying a bit easier for Mommy.

Walk of Shame

Preston made Mommy very angry in the dog park.
First, he got into a fight with another boy, then he repeatedly begged for treats from other parents. When Mommy called his name, he pretended he didn’t know who Mommy was. He was scolded by Mommy on the way home.
See Preston’s funny walk after he was scolded by Mommy. Mommy was mad but had a hard time keeping a straight face.

Yosemite National Park

Preston, Mommy and Daddy visited Yosemite National Park last weekend. It was Preston’s second visit to the park. He LOVES the snow!
The happiest dog in the snow!

Yosemite is a winter wonderland this time of the year.

Curly Tails

Mommy thinks one of the cutest feature puggles have is their curly tails. They always made Mommy smile. Preston hasn’t met a puggle whose tail curls to the left. Any lefties out there?

Mochi Ice Cream

Work has been keeping Mommy very busy lately. Not only did mommy work long hours last week, she also brought work back home. When Mommy was working at her desk, Preston kept bringing his toys to Mommy one by one. They soon piled up around Mommy’s desk.

To make it up to Preston, Mommy gave 100% (almost) attention to Preston this weekend and shared “Mochi ice cream” with him. It is a Japanese rice cake with ice cream filling.

58 toys and counting

One of the most amazing talent Preston has is remembering the names of his toys. Many people have asked Mommy and Daddy how they train Preston to do that. Well…. Mommy and Daddy can’t take much credit for this. The only thing they do is name the toys and tell Preston what they are. He gets it right away and never forgets it.
Here is a video showing Preston opening the package his friend Clover sent him and learning the name of the new toy. (Warning- 5-min video).

(mommy can’t stand her own voice in the video. she swears she doesn’t talk to humans with that baby voice…only to Preston and he loves it :-))

Hockey Puck and Stick

Preston’s dear friend, Clover, sent Preston a Canadian hockey stick for his birthday last year. This Christmas, Preston got an Ottawa Senator’s hockey puck from Clover. It seems like Mommy will have to start shopping for skates for Preston soon.

Preston never forgets how kind and thoughtful Clover is.
