La belle ville de Québec

Immediately after Preston came home from his sitter, Catherine, Mommy started packing Preston’s travel bag again but this time he got to go on the trip with Mommy and Daddy!
Preston may never visit Europe so Québec City is probably the closest for him to get a taste of Europe.
It is a long drive from Boston (7 hours!). Preston stopped in NH and played in the spring snow.

Bonjour from Old Québec!

Preston stayed at the very charming and dog-friendly Hotel du Vieux Québec. The hotel even allows quiet dogs to stay in the room by themself but of course, that is NOT Preston…

Old Quebec has the most beautiful architecture.

Mommy and Daddy dined at this charming french bistro, Le Lapin Saute, and yes…they ate bunny for dinner…

The incredible wall mural in Place Royale. Can you spot a puggle?

Preston was bummed out that he wasn’t allowed into the store but in the end, the gelato was well worth the wait.

Before heading home, Preston visited Chute Montmorency.

  1. There you are again…One Traveling Puggle!

Wow, its still Snowing up there….I bet it gets messy! We had 80 degree weather here this weekend, but still lots of pollen…yuck!

I love the picture of you in the Place Royale Mural….its like spotting for Where’s Waldo, but instead i got to play “Where’s Preston?”

It looks like you had a really great time!

    Hugs,
    CoCo

pee ess, I cannot believe your parents ate a bunny…did you ask them if it tasted like chicken?

  2. Mom and dad were in Old Quebec YEARS ago, Preston! It hasn’t changed a bit! It’s a fabulous spot! You’re so lucky you got to go along too!
Mitch would love to climb those stairs with you!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

    Hi Preston!
What beautiful pictures! I am so glad you got to go on this trip with your parents. You were so close to me again – next time you should definitely come by my place and we can hang out. I can even make you some frosty paws! 🙂

Quebec! Wow Preston, you have seen it all!
Great pictures! I did spot the puggle in that mural! BOL! It’s like that game Where’s Waldo!
Mommy went to Quebec in 8th grade, and remembers many of those sites! The Chateau Fronteac is amazing! you are so lucky you got to go there Preston!

    Hugs and Licks, Bruschi

  6. Wow, did you really go up all those stairs?

Your mom and dad take you on some really great trips. My first big trip is next month. Mom hopes that I’m a good vacationer.

PS- Mom told me that she really likes your ears. Mine aren’t as long as yours, but she says that’s OK too. 😛

  7. Mr. Puggle says:

LOVE that mural. So cool. Looks like a fun trip. Poor Preston didn’t get any bunny. If we even say that word “bunny” out loud, Mr. P goes crazy. What an adventurous lil Puggle.

  8. Everyone keeps telling me I need to go – the border is only 40 minutes away. But I never get past Montrea! 🙂

  9. I wish someday I can just be like you travel around the world~ Mommy told me that we gonna move out from Wichita (KS) and go to big city

  10. Hi Preston – wow, I am so jealous!! That looks like the most gorgeous place – as good as Europe, my human says! 🙂 – and how cool that you get to stay in a hotel!!! I have never done that before! My human says she is envious of such dog-friendly places as Australia & NZ are often not very dog-friendly.

Thank you for your lovely message you sent me & my human – I would love to be your friend! I have never had a Puggle friend before – you are very special! 🙂

Looking forward to following your adventures!

    Honey the Great Dane

Preston…I hope you are excited about your move. You’ll have to learn the Southern/Southwestern drawl, ya’ll. We talk a little bit differently south of the Mason Dixon line!! I think you may be getting closer to us in NC.
