Preston is always in front leading the way when walking with Mommy and Daddy at Bayfront Park.
He would wait and make sure Mommy and Daddy are keeping up.
It was a very hot day today. Towards the end of the walk, this was how Preston waited for mommy and daddy.
The best way to cool off on a hot day? Jamba Juice!

Because Mommy always places a couple of “donut bones” in Preston’s dinner to prevent him from eating too fast, Preston has figured out a way to tell Mommy he is hungry.
Mommy and Daddy were out of town this weekend so Preston got to spend time with Uncle Allen. The two of them must have had a great time playing tug-of-war and the game got a bit rough at the end. The baby kangaroo (Joey) was ripped off from his mommy’s pouch. Preston apparently felt really bad about it.
Mommy and Daddy don’t remember since when Preston likes to rest his head on the table. He can do it on command too.
Great auntie Amy were planning on hiking Mission Peak this weekend. Mommy and Preston thought they would come along since they had such a great time hiking up to the summit last time.
The hike started at 7:30am this time!

Mommy decided to take Preston home. Preston did not make it to the summit like he did last time. Why? Because he got too excited and used his energy up at the trail head. Plus the 2.4 lb he put on when mommy and daddy were on vacation did not help either!
Preston is turning into a couch potato. Mommy and Daddy were amazed to find him staring at the TV for almost an hour!!
He was very involved when watching TV.
What was he watching? He watched two shows on Animal Planet-a story about a dog named Amy who was rescured by SPCA and Wolverine documentary.
The weather is warming up. Preston hit the beach early this year!
Preston does not care for swimming but loves running on the sandy beach.

On Sunday, Preston went hiking at Windy Hill Open Space Preserve.

Preston made it to the summit! Good job! It was beautiful up there.
Mommy and Daddy are going on a long vacation. Like last year, Uncle Allen will be taking care of Preston while mommy and daddy are away. They already have their evenings together all planned out…
See you in three weeks when mommy and daddy get back! Guess where they are going?
Preston used to stay in the crate all day when Mommy and Daddy were at work.
When Mommy and Daddy missed Preston, they could log on the webcam and see what Preston was doing.
Most of the time he slept in his comfy crate.
Waiting for Mommy and Daddy to come home.
Now that Preston is a big boy, he has gotten Mommy and Daddy’s trust. There should not be any more naughty behaviors.
He still sleeps most of the time.
Occasionally he is doing something he is not supposed to be doing.
Mommy left a piece of his favorite salmon strip on the dining table. After Mommy was gone, Preston was trying to decide if he should steal it first and apologize later. He stared at the treat for a long long time. Mommy came home later that day and found the treat was still on the table, untouched. What a good boy Preston is!
