I hope your mom and dad have air conditioning where you’re going. I’ve heard it’s HOT in Texas in July.

Preston – We can’t believe you’re coming to Houston! Mom has been following your blog a couple years now. I’m about 1 month older than you, and live in Houston. Let me know if your Mom and Dad need to know some cool places to run around! Take a look at my video below. The beach here is GREAT fun! Be forewarned tho’….Houston is HOT in the summer! Looking foward to meeting you at a Puggle Meet-Up one day!

  5. Oh Preston…my Mama and I are SOOOOO sad that it is Houston and not Austin! =( You are right, Houston is just a short 2 1/2 hour drive away. My Daddy’s grandma lives in Houston!

Your Mommy and Daddy will like Houston better than Austin because it is bigger and is a more commercialized city. There is also a much bigger Asian population and have more things that caters to them. Of course nothing compared to the East and West coast that you all have visited. The down side is that it will be closer to the gulf coast and it is much more humid.

I’m sure we will meet. Knowing your parents, you are bound to come visit Austin. I have hope and know that you and your parents will eventually love Austin better than Houston, as most people do, and will consider moving here! I’m super glad and excited you are coming to Texas! I can’t wait to finally meet you and your parents! I hope the move goes smoothly and you remember to bring your Cool-It bandana and a portable fan…our birthdays in July will be toasty!

    Hugs,
    CoCo

  7. Bruschi says:

Its so exciting Preston! you will be 4 years old and already lived on the West Coast, the East coast, and now the south!!
Mommy mapped where she lives in FL to Houston and it’s 15 hours…..eeek……lol But Daddy says we will make the journey no matter what! Then you can show us around houston and take us to some cool doggy places!

    Hugs and Licks, Bruschi

    Hi Preston,

We are two Puggles that live in Boston but visit Houston frequently because our mom’s parents live there. We LOVE it there. Our favorite activity is when our mom and dad take us the the BEST dog park on earth. It is 20 acres (I know!) and has a swimming pool, agility equipment, trails, benches for picnics, parking lot and showers just for us dogs for after we get super dirty running through the pond and the mud! There’s nothing like this in Boston, but at least we get to visit the Bill Archer Bark Park when we’re in town. It’s worth the drive (to West Houston)! We hope you love it as much as we do and are sorry we didn’t get to play while you lived in Boston!

Enjoy Houston — stay inside or go swimming June-August, it’s brutally hot according to our mom (she grew up there).

    Enjoy your new adventure.
