House Guest

Bunbun is Auntie Katherine and Uncle Steve’s furkid. She came to stay with Preston for a few days this week when Auntie Katherine was having a human kid. Bunbun is the cutest Havanese Mommy and Daddy have ever seen.

She brought a very interesting dog treat to share with Preston. It is “black forest cake” flavored chewy candy from Japan! It DOES smell like “black forest cake”.

Bunbun is the sweetest girl who loves every person she meets but she has no interest in playing with other dogs. How does Preston think about this house guest?

    Hi Preston! I hope that when we finally get to meet, I will like playing with you because my Daddy says that I have the same attitude as Bunbun. I am super friendly to humans and do not share too much interest in other pups. Mama is convinced that I think that I’m a little human. Oh well!

    Cute photos! How nice that your guest came with treats at least, even though she didn’t want to play with you. She must have a lot going on with the human kid entering the picture. I have one of those coming too. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

    I went to the black forest in Germany. Somehow I thought it was going to be a black forest. Like Hansel and Gretta. But it is actually a region. Of course we had to have black forest cake while there. It didn’t taste like “American” black forest cake. It was almost bitter. Funny how we can romanticize about something until we get there.

    I’d be sad too, if such a beautiful puppy didn’t want to play with me. I’ll bet you’re like me though- and know when to back off because the other puppy doesn’t want to play.

    Mom almost had to bring a puppy home to stay with us for a while because it was running around loose in the neighborhood, but the puppy had a tag and her owners were home when Mom called. She was curly and white like Bun Bun.
